Evonne  Rasher (Pangrac)
Evonne Rasher was born November 19, 1937, at Niles, Kansas, to Harold and Mary Pangrac. She died Saturday, February 28, 2015.
She and Morris Rasher married on April 7, 1959.
Evonne worked at D. S. and O. Rural Cooperative for over 30 years until retiring in 2000. In retirement, she helped write and publish the Solomon Valley Tribune, played cards with the Sunflower Shufflers, and remained active as a volunteer in her community.
She is survived by her husband Morris of Solomon; her daughter Tammy Hammerschmidt and husband David of rural Niles; her daughter Sheri Graefe, husband Erik, and grandchildren Mary, Carly, and Jack of Abilene; a brother Jim Pangrac of Niles. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Ivan Pangrac.
Funeral services for Evonne will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Solomon United Methodist Church in Solomon with Pastor Mik King & Pastor Erik Graefe officiating. Her final resting place will be in the Prairie Mound Cemetery near Solomon.
Evonne’s family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested by the family to the Solomon Public Library and the Solomon Senior Center and may be sent in care of the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 308, Solomon, Kansas 67480.
