Richard H. Middleton, 63 of Carlton passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, September 24, 2020. He was born August 17, 1957 in Plymouth, Indiana, the son of F.L and Eva (Judkins) Middleton. He grew up in the Batesville, Arkansas area, attended the local school where he was a defensive tackle in football and received his GED. He later joined the United States Marine Corp. On October 22, 1988 he was united in marriage to Cindy Hosie in Abilene, Kansas. She survives of the home. Richard was the Senior Pastor at the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Abilene where he pastured for 20 years. He also drove a truck for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family. He loved serving the Lord and being with his church family. His hobby was repairing vehicles. He belonged to The Men of Valor of Navarre, Ks. Richard is survived by his loving wife Cindy of 31 years. Daughters: Danielle Middleton (Eddie); Amanda Owens (Bruce); Elizabeth Gentet (Bryan). Sons: Richard Middleton (Tammy) and Daniel Middleton (Marcella). His mother, Eva Lois Judkins, fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brothers: Bill Middleton, Michael Judkins and Joe Cox. Sisters: Vernell Ballard, Terecia Judkins, Frankie Rice and Ann Middleton. He was preceded in death by his father, F.L. Middleton, Sisters: Pam Hitchcock, Barabra Neldon, Donna Parker and Dorthy Stockburger Brothers: Delbert Middleton and Richard Everett Middleton and infant granddaughter. The family has chosen cremation. Celebration of Life service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Abilene with Pastor Greg Schlesener officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-6 P.M., at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers be given to the Richard Middleton Memorial Fund.
