Obituary for Richard Laws
Funeral services for Richard C. Laws, age 73, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his home in Abilene. He was born July 3, 1948 in Junction City, Kansas the son of Charles and Genevieve (Adolph) Laws.
Dick was a United States Air Force veteran. He worked for Vacu-Blast and Abrassive Blast both in Abilene and also for ABB in Enterprise. He was a member of the Abilene Elks Lodge and Eagles Lodge both in Abilene and the American Legion in Junction City.
Dick is survived by his nephew Darrin Walton of Florida. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and sister Patricia Walton.
Services for Dick will be 1:00 pm Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Abilene Cemetery with Pastor Lindsey Brummer officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faithfull Friends Memorial Garden’s Pet Cemetery near Solomon and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 674410.
