Michael J. Greene, 76 of Salina, formerly of Abilene passed away October 14, 2022. He was born October 19, 1945 is Salina, Kansas the son of Timothy and Teresa (Kirn) Greene. On November 8, 1969 he was united in marriage to Patricia “Patty” Shipman in Salina. Michael graduated from Solomon High School and went on the earn his Bachelor’s degree in Geology at Kansas State University. Michael is survived by his loving wife Patty of the home. One daughter, Kelly Greene and granddaughter, Katy Greene. He is also survived by his four brothers: Dennis, Timothy, Kevin Greene and John Nielson. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Colin Greene. The family has chosen cremation and there will be no services planned at this time per Michael’s wishes.
