Obituary for Kenton Houser
Kenton Edward Houser, 82, passed away peacefully at Overland Park Regional Hospital on March 12, 2021. Kenton will be buried at Abilene Cemetery at 1:00 pm on March 18, 2021.
Kenton was born December 4, 1938 in Abilene, KS where he lived with his parents, George and Irene (Smith), until he moved to Kansas City, MO in 1969. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Metropolitan Community College. Kenton worked as a medical records clerk and a payroll accountant.
Kenton loved God, reading the Bible, BBQ ribs and chocolate chip ice cream. He donated to several charities and political groups throughout his life. He always wanted to help others in need despite his own needs. Mr. Houser’s good humor and kind heart will be remembered by those that knew and cared for him. Arrangements are in care of Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home of Abilene.
