When Great Grandpa Perry was in the hospital dad and I flew from Hawaii to CA. We hitched hiked to Vegas from there. Dad played some slots and used the little he won to buy bus tickets the rest of the way to Salina. We made it in time to say goodbye. I was around 15 maybe.

Oh the memories of my grandad would fit in a novel. Memories of fun times and those times growing up where I needed a little discipline in life. Pictures of my first haircut granddad took me for in Salina, a 50th Birthday surprise I made for him by visiting from IL and so much more. Before the World shutdown we were blessed to visit February 2020 all the way from VA and before we moved to Poland. Even from halfway across the World I was able to call him and say goodbye. I will miss him dearly and glad I was able to pray and talk with him before he crossed over to eternity. Granddad loved his Mom and Dad dearly and now they are reunited walking and talking about all the grandkids and great grandkids. Love you Grandpa. -DJ (Deej)
