Dan E Conard was born on November 12, 1959: Ft. Campbell, Kentucky the son of Dwight and Lucille Conard. He passed away July 19, 2022 at his home in Abilene.

Dan graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 78' and played football and took gymnastics in high school. He was proud to show his kids that he was still able to run up a tree and do a backflip off of it even many years later. He loved hunting and fishing and was given an award of a master angler from the State of Kansas in 1984. He also enjoyed working in his shop building all different types of things.

He worked for the City of Abilene for many years. When his kids were younger he helped coach traveling baseball teams, softball, and AKWC wrestling.

Dan is survived by his children: Daniel (Bethany) Conard: Trinity and Trevor, Kandi (Michael) Robinson: Jacobi, Jalen, and Jonavin, Heather Elliott: Brayden, Abby, and Leyla, Tyler (Samantha) Degand: Rowan and Wrenley, and Brittany Conard, siblings Diana Langston, Jack Conard, Lynette Scalzi and Lewis Conard. He was preceded in death by parents Dwight E and Lucille Conard.

Due to the sudden loss, a celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
