Cindy S. Gabel, 46 of Abilene passed away February 6, 2021. She was born March 9, 1974 in Salina, Kansas, the daughter of Bill Vaught and Kimberly Lake. On April 15, 2000 she was united in marriage to Clark Gabel in Abilene. Cindy was a CNA and also worked part time at McDonalds. Cindy is survived by her husband Clark Gabel. Two sons, Nicholas Gould and Ryan Helm. Parents, Bill Vaught and Kimberly Lake. Siblings, Bill Vaught, Rikk Drake, Joseph Gimple, Denver Gould, Misty Shields, Leah Vaught, Margaret Badders and Christina Gould. 18 nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.

The family has chosen cremation. A Memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Friday, February 12, 2021 at Grace United Church of Christ in Abilene. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Cindy Gabel Memorial Fund.
