I have such sweet childhood memories of my Aunt Carol. When our families would get together for various family events- so many fun cousins to play with and Aunt Carol's laughter filling the room -probably because of something hilarious that my Uncle Duke said. I will miss her smiling eyes and genuine kindness, but know I will see her again one day.
Much love to my Uncle Duke, Aunt Nancy and all my cousins and their families. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Always,
Callie (Scheidt) Bast and family

Aunt Carol was always kind.
Always.
Her chuckle - because she - well she just knew.
Her ability to make you feel special.
She let me taste the stirred strawberries once. Such a grand gesture to a ten year old. Mind you she needed to spread those thin for at least a couple dozen people who were anticipating her shortcake.
What a gem.
Our aunts and uncles are truly amazing. Their love for us - all of us - is a high bar.
What a grand legacy.
Thank you Aunt Carol. We love you.
Much love to our Uncle Duke, our cousins and our Aunt Nancy.
Wish we could be there.
